Dr. Nina Meledandri completed a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (now the National University of Natural Medicine) in 2001. In addition she holds a Master of Oriental Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist. She has been practicing for 20 years.
Dr. Meledandri utilizes natural therapeutics and lifestyle counseling when possible to address all types of medical conditions seen in a primary care practice as well as for preventive and wellness care. She is passionate about Integrative Medicine for the whole family using supportive, non-invasive treatments and prescription medications when necessary. Recommendations for treatment may involve dietary and lifestyle modifications, acupuncture, mind-body medicine, supplements, herbs, and pharmaceutical medications. She works along side patients to identify obstacles to achieving their health and wellness goals.
Dr. Meledandri collaborates with other providers who are part of your medical care whether they are medical doctors, counselors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, herbalists, or otherwise. Dr. Meledandri is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for patients and guiding them to make healthy changes from a place of self compassion and empowerment.
On the weekend Dr. Meledandri will most likely be found snow-shoeing, hiking, swimming, kayaking or on a stand up paddle board.
